MINIMO was born in the quiet, uncertain days of the early pandemic, a time when the world slowed down and everything felt stripped to its essentials. For founder and designer Rainy Leonor-Lake, that season brought both challenge and clarity. Navigating postpartum depression while the world stood still, she found herself returning again and again to a simple Spanish phrase: haz lo mínimo — do the minimum.

It wasn't a call to give up. It was permission to do just enough to, show up, to breathe, to create. That mantra became the heartbeat of MINIMO.

Rainy is a self-taught designer who launched MINIMO five years ago with a vision as precise as it is personal: jewelry that feels intentional, wears beautifully, and leaves a lighter footprint on the world. Every piece she designs carries the quiet confidence of someone who has learned that less, done well, is always enough.
